A letter to my favorite show
Dear the people who are in charge of airing Lost,
You are very inconsiderate people!!! You are constantly taking random breaks for months at a time without thought of the people who's lives depend on the show! Pathetic, maybe, but true. I am near to the point where I just want to go on strike against the show itself, and not watch it, just to show you that you cannot do this to your viewers. But, the truth is you can pretty much do what you want because it is that good, and I will never be able to stop watching.
Yours truly,
The admittedly defeated

Happy Belated Easter!
Well, I thought it was about time to post Easter pictures. We were able to go up to G's parents neighborhood where they had there own little private Easter Egg Hunt. It was a lot of fun. Quincey had a lot of fun with picking up eggs. And he was fascinated by the Easter Bunny! He kept walking up to him and pointing and ooing and ahhing. So fun.

Easter video
Happy Easter Everybody!!!
This is a link to a video on Christ to get you in the Easter Spirit, it's about 7 minutes, but I had never seen it before and I really enjoyed it.
This is the link to the website about Jesus Christ, if you didn't already know about it. It is a really neat source that is dedicated to the Savior.

Yay Yesterday!
G was home yesterday, and it was such a great day! Here's why:
1. I was able to just lay on the couch and read a book while Q was watching Baby Einsteins, and apparently I fell asleep, and when I woke up G and Q were gone. G saw that I was sleeping so he took Q out for a walk so I could sleep in peace.
2. G picked up and vacuumed, may I just say, that he is really good at vacuuming because he likes to do it and I hate it... match made in heaven! I was able to organize one of my cabinets and throw lots of things away! I love throwing things away, it makes me feel so free.
3. Q was taking his second nap and I needed to get out, so G said he would watch Q while I went shopping. Yesterday was such a beautiful day, so I enjoyed the weather with my sunroof open, and listened to my rap music as loud as I wanted! I went and bought some new clothes! (granted they were maternity) but nevertheless it is so nice to have clothes that fit and are comfy!
4. I also was craving crunchy breaded fish filets, so I bought some frozen ones and some lemon wedges and tarter sauce and I thought I died and went to heaven.
5. Amanda Overmyer got sent home from American Idol. I thought she was kinda cool, but it got old after 2 0r 3 performances. (I guessed Ramielle, but I am glad I was wrong.) G guessed Amanda though, he's incredibly good at guessing those kind of things... like on the Oscars, he was pretty much always right!
6. Q has been sleeping through the night really well lately!
Well, that is about it for now.... but hopefully today can be just as good.

The Dang Cabbage

So, I went to the Walmart today and at the beginning of my trip picked up a cabbage, because I was really craving corned beef and cabbage (because of obvious holiday related circumstances). But when I got to the check out lady, I realized that I never picked up the corned beef, and therefore had no use for the cabbage. Well, so I told the lady that I didn't want the cabbage anymore, and to make a long story short, SHE MADE ME BUY IT! But mostly I didnt want to fight with her because I was anxious to leave the store because she was the slowest cashier ever. But what she said was, " It's really cheap right now, and I don't know how to take it back." (or something like that). and then she scanned it!!!!
So here I am with this Darned Cabbage (edited for family friendly purposes). It really wasn't that expensive, only like 75 cents, but it's the principle of the matter!

American Idol!!!
So, I know that I've been posting about Lost, but American Idol is another show that we get into. Surely at least one of my readers must watch the Idol. So, I will just say that this truly is the most talented season yet!! I didn't believe them at first, when Ryan kept repeating it through the audition weeks. But it truly is! I usually can pick my one or two favorites, but this time I have got too many favorites!
I have always been a fan of Michael Johns, and I really like David Cook's rockin' renditions. And there is always fabulous Carly Smithson. And this past week, I was in love with Chikezie's performance. And also this week, I decided to give in and become a Brooke fan. I always thought she was great, but I didn't want to favor her just because she is LDS. But, my goodness! Who can deny how good her version of 'Let it Be' was? I shed a few tears on that one! I did really like David Hernandez, but unfortunately he wasn't good enough to overcome all of the scandal!!! So, basically, my least favorite's are... David Archuleta (not because he is not an incredible singer... but because I don't like his style of music.) and Kristy Lee Cook (whom I also think is great, but doesn't hold a candle to the other contestants.) Okay, sorry... I didn't think this was going to be such a long post! Tell me what you think!
Check out the videos below, The first one is Chikezie, and the second is Brooke. (obviously good for different reasons)
P.S. if you didn't know, you can watch all of the previous performances for free on americanidol.com under videos... and then, performance videos.

Snacking Dilemma
I decided that I hate snacking... I am not usually a snacky person, but when one is pregnant one is much happier if one is eating a little all day long instead of STUFFING ONE'S FACE 2 or 3 times a day. Plus, I find the longer you wait to eat, the more enticing sweets and candy bars are. So, I really am not that into crackers or chips, or granola bars, or pretzels, or cereals. I really like fruits and veggies, but I can't eat too many of those or I get sick, and they don't fill me up anyways. So, I know it's a big dilemma, but any suggestions?

More Lost Talk...
So, my sister had it right!!! The boat belongs to Charles Whitmore! It made it a little anti-climactic for me though because I suspected it. So, who do you guys think the guy is that Ben has on the boat? I think an obvious guess is Micheal, but it is a bit predictable. I kind of hope it is someone else. Anyways, I guess we will see!
P.S. I wonder what happens to Juliet to make future Jack still in love with Kate.

The past few days...
Well, we have had a fun couple of days. We got to go to a Hockey Game on Wednesday, and Q had a blast dancing to all the music and pulling the hair of the people in front of us;) We also got to go see our new baby niece in the hospital. It is so fun to see brand new little babies. It is so weird to me to think Q used to be that small. Everyday he is just getting bigger and bigger and looking like such big boy!
My niece left this headband at our house and Q has taken a liking to it. He will bring it to me, and want me to put it on him... stylin'!!
I don't know why my camera does this sometimes, but I call it the "Ghost Effect." This was at the Hockey Game.
How sweet and little!

Fajitas!
So, I have been craving Fajitas, but fresh peppers are so expensive! And then I found these frozen ones at the Walmart... and had fajitas last night! The peppers were just as crispy as fresh ones and tasty too! (they should pay me for this.) Anyways, I was thinking about what to post, and happened to be happily enjoying my leftovers at the same time, so there you go... there's my inspiration.

Lost!!!... No Constant

okay lost fans, I have the coolest theory about lost concerning last weeks episode. (okay, so maybe it was my sister that came up with this theory and I just have a desire to take credit for it, because I think it is good.)
So, basically... it was more than just a coincidence that Penny's father was buying the journal from that random ship that had disappeared. That leads one to believe that he has interest in the craziness that happens on and around this island... enough to fund his own ship. So, the boat that Des and Sayid were on in this past weeks episode is the ship that belongs to Penny's father, which is why they were not allowed to answer phone calls from Penny. So! it is a war between Ben and Penny's Dad!!!!
BUM BUM BUM!!!!!!!! (for dramatic effect)
And just so you know, I cried at this episode, it was so touching!
