This is not shown out of disrespect, I just thought it was cute. I actually have nothin' but love for our President. Feel free to photo shop my picture on to a tea bag. I would not take offense.

Poor Maiya

Last night Quincey was playing with his Bubble Gun and Maiya was crawling around. I was making salsa for which I was using jalapenos for my first time. As I was finishing up with the avocado I noticed Q had been shooting M in the eye with the bubble gun... so, even though it didn't seem to bother her, I picked her up and started splashing water into her eye to wash it out... And all of a sudden she was screaming in pain! So, I picked up her binky and put it in her mouth and she was screaming even more and spitting it out!!! So, I tested the binky and my mouth started burning really bad! That is when it hit me, oh no!!!! I had been splashing jalapeno in her eye and put a jalapeno binky in her mouth!!!! She even had a red mark around her mouth for a little while afterwards.... she is fine now. And I learned my jalapeno lesson... I will definitely be more careful next time..... because I am sure there will be a next time, that salsa was amazing.

Poop one day, jalapeno the next....... poor Maiya.

EWWWWWWW!!!

What is worse than your son pooping on the floor without you knowing it?.....

Finding your daughter crying, her hands and mouth covered in brown and wondering if she found a cookie.

Teaching Bad Habits ;)

I think there is nothing better than eating things right out of their cartons. I guess it is my one way of saying, "to heck with being proper and responsible!" It keeps me young and crazy. I also like it because it is a way to claim my property. Geren knows not to touch my ice cream. (plus, I am lucky and he doesn't even really like Ice Cream). Well, of course, I was enjoying my snack during nap time, and Q woke up early and learned about my habit. Maybe he can smell ice cream from the other room! If so, that is quite the talent.

Sprinklers and Summer are Synonymous! ;)

Yesterday, we took it easy and just hung out in our yard with the sprinkler! We had a blast. We are often so busy, and not home very often so, it was nice to hang out at home.

Even 'Doggie' had to come and enjoy the sprinklers.

This Video is of Quincey Chattin'. He is sure fun to talk to, I love our conversations.

Maiya Smacking

This is all I could get from her for now, she gets so distracted by the camera... but she loves to smack her tongue and lips together.

Skating! and other news.

It was Geren's B-day last weekend and we wanted to do something fun with the kiddo's, so we took them to the skating rink and had a blast! We were really the only ones out on the rink, which was a plus in my opinion. Quincey didn't think it was very fun going slow on the skates, so Geren figured out a way that he could go faster! (you'll have to see it in the video). But when he was too tired, we pushed both kids in the stroller.

At the Skating Rink

And when he was tired with the stroller, he came and played on the video games!

And Maiya was just dancin' and havin' a ball the whole time.

Some other pics:
Here is our baby girl. She is getting so big! Turning 1 in 3 weeks! She finally learned to roll over last week. It's so funny that that is usually the first thing a baby does, and she decided to save it. Which I didn't mind at all because it sure makes diaper changes easier and bed time as well. Now she just wants to crawl around in her bed until 10 pm to make up for lost time, I suppose. She has also learned how to clap and smack her lips together. She is gaining so much confidence and it is fun to see her little personality coming out more and more.

We got to decorate Quincey's potty with some Potty Stickers! He is doing really well with his potty training. He does really well when we are home, we are still working on when we are out, though. I am so proud of my big boy.

Our life in pictures

We were lucky enough to be able to spend the 4th of July weekend with family. There were a lot of activities for the kids. We had a lot of fun.

We made peanut butter/pine cone bird feeders. Quincey had just as much fun eating it as the birds!

Quincey did not want to get off of that horse! He was a natural.

Babies in hats... need I say more?
