Nauvoo and Carthage
On a more positive note, we were able to visit Nauvoo and the Nauvoo Temple. It is such a beautiful temple and with so much history. It was a great privilege for us to experience.

It looks like you all had a wonderful trip. We are glad you are all home safe w/ lots of memories to look back on! :)
Oh I loved my trip to Nauvoo and Carthage,.. I went there with my family right after Dan and I had our DTR and started officially dating. :) So we took some of the very same pictures of these spots only you can see that I'm either on the phone with Dan,.. or texting him,.. haha. I also got a pioneer promise ring on my birthday which I took as a good sign at the time too... We went and did baptisms there on my birthday as well. It was so good to be there with my family and enjoy the historical places. I loved it!
