32 weeks and counting!

So, at the beginning of this pregnancy it seemed to be going so fast! But now... I feel like 2 months seems forever away. Although I know that it will go really fast. But, in the mean time I am enjoying the regular schedule that Quincey is on both sleeping and eating. I can tell that he is ready for a little sister to pick on. I feel bad for him that all he has for entertainment around here is me! So, we try to get out a lot, but today, I think I am in the mood to just stay inside! Maybe we will go swimming, but no getting into that hot car!

Also while we are on a tangent... Do any of you have experience with hives? Quincey broke out in hives the other day for no apparent reason... Like I cannot think of ANYTHING new that I introduced to him. We finally gave him benadryl and they went away. But then the past two days they would reappear. I think we should be done with them now.. let's hope, they look really bothersome! I have read some things about them and how they are not always associated with allergies and can last for a long while before you should worry about them being chronic. Anyways, just wondering. I wonder too if it could be that he is getting used to the heat. could be. It has been pretty darn hot here lately! Hopefully it will be cooler in Montana!!!! (we are going there for family reunion next week!)

Quincey's Favorite Chair

This is Quincey's favorite chair and one of his favorite past times. He loves to crawl up into the chair. Sometimes the remote will accompany him and he will watch tv and flip through the channels, or sometimes he will be more in a reading mood. Today it was a car day.

More Home Depot?!?

We went to Home Depot the other day, and one of the workers thought Quincey was so cute and said, "oh, I have something for him!" Then, he brought him this cute little apron! Q loves to put things in the pockets.

Utah Trip!

We (Quincey and I) just got back from our very quick trip to Utah. My sister Amy, who lives in Washington, is getting married in August and wanted to have some time with some of her friends and family so she came down this past week and she got to look for wedding dresses etc. So we went up to see her! It was a lot of fun for all of us! So, get ready for picture overload....

The drive is beautiful, and I decided to take some pictures for your viewing pleasure...

There were some really pretty green parts! Where the mountains on both side of me were just covered in green! love it.

Quincey and his cousin Carlee, getting aquainted......

Although it didn't take Quince long to give her the "nice to meet you" tackle. Haven't you heard of that custom? It is very prominent in the Country that Quincey comes from. ;)

My pretty sister and her 2 sweet girls came to visit as well. And YAY for Olive Garden!

Q had lots of new toys to play with, he loved this horse!

And he especially loved this car!!! He can only go backwards in it though, so we aren't going to let him drive a real car until he can go forwards too.

Amy and Quincey spending some swingin' time together.

I love family! what a sweet niece I have. I hadn't seen her since she was about 5 weeks old. So, it was fun to get to know her fun personality she was so smiley!

And I came home to these pretty flowers that Geren bought for me:) They smell so good!

We had a great time, but are glad to be back! We are also looking forward to making the same trip next weekend!!!! For our family reunion.

Summer Fun:)

It has been awhile since I last posted! So I will try to update you all accordingly!

This is me today! At 30 weeks. Everything is going really well with baby #2. We are getting more and more excited. (especially when Quincey is around other little babies and he tries to poke their eyes out :) lol)

It was my birthday last Friday! Almost a week ago! Man time goes fast. This picture isn't from my actual birthday, but they were singing me happy birthday at the Brick Oven. (You remember;) Geren took me out to Outback steakhouse and it was oh so yummy (and don't worry they sang for me there too, even beat-boxed). I decided I really like birthdays, because I can pretty much do whatever, and people are like..."it's her birthday, it's okay." So, thanks everyone!

My nice in-laws got me this fun birthday card that sings, "She's Got it! OH baby she's got it!" and Quincey really loved it.

This is what we've been doing with our days... We have a pool at our apartment complex and everytime we walk by, Q wants to jump in! Yay Summer!

Geren's parents came in for Memorial Day weekend. It was great to see everyone. This is Quincey helping at the cemetery.

Okay, I think that is all for today!

More Random Updates (R.U.'s)!

I decided this is going to be a new thing for me so maybe I should start referring to these posts as R.U.'s (random updates).

So happy that David Cook won American Idol! Okay, now that that's over... what am I going to do with my weeks?

Geren and I got called to teach the Valiant 10 class in our ward Primary. It has been really good so far, I have to admit, at first I wasn't sure about the calling, but after one week... we just really liked it. It is a lot easier for Quincey, for one. He is free to just walk around in our class room, and the kids (9 and 10 year olds... fun age) are so helpful with him. And he loves being in sharing time and loves singing the songs... so, anyways, we really like it so far.

These root beers are what our Primary presidency gave us to welcome us to primary, I thought it was a really cute idea. (it says, " We are soda-lighted that you are going to be working in Primary" if you can't read it.)

I randomly walked into Blockbuster on Friday, and they were having a big Memorial Day sale on all of their Previously-viewed movies. They were all half off already reduced prices! I got a bunch of movies for so cheap! Happy Birthday to me!!! Among them are The Holiday, The Bourne Ultimatum, Evan Almighty, No Reservations, Enchanted... and those are just a few!

Geren's parents were in town this weekend. It was fun to see some kind, familiar faces. We went and saw Indiana Jones on Saturday, and my nice Sister-in-law and nieces watched Quincey for us. It was so nice to go to a movie without having to worry about keeping him quiet. Although, there was a baby at the end of our row who was screaming for like 10 minutes straight.... That was a little obnoxious. It was an entertaining movie though.

I love watermelon! I've been buying them lately and eating the whole thing in like 2 days! Yummmm!Speaking of food, we went to Applebee's today in celebration of Memorial Day, and I had the

Okay, and again, if you got through all of this, you deserve to see some pictures of my little pumpkin. (oh and with Geren holding the pumpkin).

The Fluffernutter

I have found a new love.... The Fluffernutter. It's a peanut butter and Marshmallow Fluff sandwich. I feel like my childhood was robbed because it was fluffernutter-less... so, if yours was too, don't waste another minute! Here is the website, it even has fun, original advertisements and everything.
