32 weeks and counting!

So, at the beginning of this pregnancy it seemed to be going so fast! But now... I feel like 2 months seems forever away. Although I know that it will go really fast. But, in the mean time I am enjoying the regular schedule that Quincey is on both sleeping and eating. I can tell that he is ready for a little sister to pick on. I feel bad for him that all he has for entertainment around here is me! So, we try to get out a lot, but today, I think I am in the mood to just stay inside! Maybe we will go swimming, but no getting into that hot car!

Also while we are on a tangent... Do any of you have experience with hives? Quincey broke out in hives the other day for no apparent reason... Like I cannot think of ANYTHING new that I introduced to him. We finally gave him benadryl and they went away. But then the past two days they would reappear. I think we should be done with them now.. let's hope, they look really bothersome! I have read some things about them and how they are not always associated with allergies and can last for a long while before you should worry about them being chronic. Anyways, just wondering. I wonder too if it could be that he is getting used to the heat. could be. It has been pretty darn hot here lately! Hopefully it will be cooler in Montana!!!! (we are going there for family reunion next week!)

yeah,. I certainly don't know anything about hives,..but it could just be an adjustment to a dryer or more humid climate. Or there may be something new at your new place that he is allergic to. My cousin found out that her son was allergic to feather down when she got a new down comforter to put on her bed and he slept on it and swelled up like a balloon poor little guy.

Uck...hives. M got those at about 10 months when we fed her scrambled eggs. I knew what caused it though and the medicine also took care of it! So sorry!

You look so cute. I know what you mean when you say you feel the time stopped with a pregnant belly:) I think the last 2 months are the slowest! Q. is so cute in the little apron. He looks bigger to me! I miss you guys!
Oh and by the way.... you never told me anything about your Lost thoughts:)

When he was about 1, Sawyer got hives when he ate strawberry anything. Luckily we pin pointed that that was the "new" thing he'd eaten, so we just kept him off strawberries for about 6 months, then tried again and he'd grown out of it. It does look terrible, though! He had the big puffy red and white raised patches showing up and moving around all over (and it was on Christmas Day). If you can't think of any new food, medicine, or cleaning product he had(i.e. his bath soap maybe?), then I'd give his pediatric nurse a call (it can't hurt to ask).

They could be caused by an allergy, but if they go away and don't show up again, I wouldn't worry about it. Hives can be caused by sooo many things. I know what you mean about the last 2 months dragging by, it seemed like that w/both of my pregnacies. Feeling like a house doesn't help much either :P
