All day yesterday I thought that it was Thursday, but really it was Friday! Now I feel like I missed a whole day! We always go out to eat on Friday nights and Geren called me yesterday and our conversation went something like this.....
G: Hey I'm comin' home early, lets go out to eat around 4:30p.
Me: oooo you want to go out? (really shocked, because it was only Thursday!)
G: (sounding confused) oh do you not want to?
Me: No of course I do, I'm just surprised that you want to.
G: Uhhhh.... okay, whatever.
He didn't say anything else. And then during dinner we had another conversation that went something like this...
G: Do you want to do anything else this evening?
Me: (wondering what has gotten into him and why he is feeling so adventurous on a weeknight.) Yeah, okay... do you wanna go get a movie or something?
On Fridays too we normally stay up a little later, But last night I was really tired while I was reading my book, so I just went to Bed. Geren came in later, and woke me up and was like why didn't you tell me you were going to bed?? And I just thought Man, what a drama queen!
But I woke up this morning and I was just thinking about the Office (the TV show on Thursday nights) and how it seemed awhile since I watched it. Only after checking my cell phone did I believe that it was actually Saturday!!! And then I started thinking about our conversations and how they made a lot more sense when I realized that G and I were living in different days! Ha ha ha... Poor guy, he must think I'm so crazy, and I very well may be!

Sorry you lost a day, that never is fun. But I bet a lot of other people have done that too, like me. :) And the idea that G was thinking out of box and had extra special thoughts of you totally help make up for the lost day. :)
You may have had a touch of the mommy-brain syndrome that seems to affect me often. You know, when you forget why you went to the store in the first place or even what you had for breakfast that day. You're just too busy with your little ones!

How funny. It's amazing how time can get away from us so quickly!
ha ha that was so funny!!! It is so awesome to go out with our husbands isn't it? Do you take the kids? I'm interested in learning to deal with all these changes :)

Ok, I almost fell off my chair in laughter, that is hilarious! I love that Geren didn't question your weirdness, what a good husband! :) So you really go out to eat every Friday?? Love that Idea.
A X-zylo is the coolest toy invented. Don't worry, I will blog about it with pictures and all. It's hard to describe without pictures. And dunno is a legitimate word. I use it all the time.
LOL! I've sooo been there, honey. Staying at home with the littles all day can definitely do that to ya!
