Poor Guy...
Well, basically I just feel so bad for little Quince, let me explain. For the past month or so, Quincey has been waking up about once in the night and we just let him work it out for a few minutes, and he puts himself back to sleep. A lot of times I think it's because he is cold. We have a space heater in his room, and I told Geren to adjust it up a couple of degrees to make sure he stays warm, and I made sure that Quincey had a really warm night gown on. Well, last night about 5:00 am, he woke up and he kept going in and out of sleep for about 15 minutes.. finally I decided I should at least check on him and make sure he was okay. Well, the minute I opened his door it was like walking into a furnace. The heater was set at 88 degrees, I think because we forgot to push the button so it would hold the temperature. It was soooo hot! And to top it all off, he was in the warmest night gown I could find. He was so sweaty. He seems to be recovered now. I am so glad that children forgive their parents so easily for all of the dumb mistakes we make. But maybe I shouldn't let him read this when he is a teenager, because then he may never forgive me!

Oh poor little guy, I feel so bad for him having crazy parents and all. :) Never tell him about this, that's for sure. Ace is a bottomless pit when it comes to his "selective" memory. I still get grief over telling him some stupid thing about cutting his hands off. I thought we were joking around, he thought I was dead serious. It makes ya wonder what these little ones really think of us parents. Hope you all get better sleep tonight. :)
Well, the good thing is he won't remember and if he does catch wind of it later, he'll just know why he hates the heat ;)
Poor Guy. Better to be warm than cold. You could have forgotten to turn the heater on altogether.
By the way, (this has nothing to do with this post..) I LOVE that picture of you and Geren on the side of the page!! It is a beautiful picture. Thanks again for the book and your friendship! I will miss you!
I don't know which is worse - too hot or Brooklyn waking up with her little hands freezing cold even though we pile on the blankets?
Justin and I got a good laugh of your little bugger running! That was so cute. He will definitely enjoy watching that video later on down the road. Too cute!!!
Can't wait for some Halloween Pics! :)
