Pics and Updates!

This is what I do when I am bored and craving chocolate at the same time. Too bad I bit too much off of the 'N'.

This was the Rose that I got for Mother's Day, which Quincey broke right after I got it.

This was the breakfast in bed that Geren made for me on Mother's Day, which I ate at the table.


And my pretty baby girl! Who happens to be 9 months old today!!! She is major teething right now, her top 4 teeth are all really swollen. (She has 3 bottom teeth already). And she bit me for the first time while nursing her last night! And I freaked! When that happened with Quincey, he thought it was flippin' hilarious, but poor sensitive Maiya couldn't stop crying for a long while. (But that didn't stop her from doing it again today).
She is sure trying to crawl right now, she gets herself on her knees and rocks and rocks... so maybe soon.

Special Features

Quincey loves Spider-Man. He has a Spider-Man shirt and place mat, and he likes to look at our Spider-Man DVD's. Well, he always wants to watch the disc with the picture of the Green Goblin on it, which happens to be the special features disc. When I explain this to him he gets real excited and exclaims in a gruff voice of Awe and wide eyes.... 'Special Features!' (yeah, not sure he really gets what that means...)
Well, now if someone talks about Spiderman to him, he often will say excitedly, "SPECIAL FEATURES!!!"

What a goof.

Free Potty Training Charts

For those with Potty Training in their future, I found these free Potty Training Charts that got Quincey excited today (I printed off the Cars one). I told him that it was for every time he goes to the potty and to my surprise, he ran in the bathroom and pulled down his pants and got on the potty and sat there while we looked at the pictures. He didn't go, but it was fun to see him excited about it! Normally if he hears/ sees/ smells anything about a potty he runs... so we will see! Just thought I would share in case it will help someone else too!

I saw this on my friend Aubrey's blog, and I haven't been able to stop listening to it! I love it! Such a beautiful piano version of these songs.
