Peter Pan vs. Robin Hood

Have you ever noticed how close Robin Hood and Peter Pan characters are to each other?

We went to our ward Halloween party and Q was dressed as Peter Pan and people would say Oh look it's peter pan! (or is he Robin Hood). And then I realized that they are pretty closely dressed characters.

Bumbo Maiya!

I was really excited to try Maiya in her Bumbo because I never had one with Q and we got it off of Craigslist for only $10. Anyways... she doesn't like it for very long. Only a couple of minutes at a time before she gets real upset. Hopefully she will like it later as she gets stronger.

We got the chance to go to Sutherland Farms on Saturday and had a lot of fun! Quincey got to pick some pumpkins, and play in a Corn Pit (his favorite). We thought that he would enjoy the train, but after the train took off (2 seconds after this pic was taken...) he got really scared and cried and cried! So, I ended up just taking him off. He also loved having the balloon. The picture of him looking up is when the balloon took off.

Busy Month!!!

This is such a busy month for us! (in fact I probably shouldn't even be blogging... but I shall try to make it quick;)) There are so many fun fall activities and Halloween parties that we are excited to take part in, but also we are moving out of our apartment by the end of the month! (Our final check-out inspection of our apartment will be on Halloween, actually) We are moving into a 3 bedroom home. And we'll have a washer and dryer and a backyard and all! And we won't have a neighbor underneath us that pounds on our ceiling every time Quincey runs around. So we are excited.
It is also our anniversary this Tuesday. And Geren is busy with his internship and work! And to top it all off with, I am trying to finish this darn Twilight series! So! I will let you know more when things settle down a bit.

Lazy Fall Days...

Take that, Doctor!!!!

Yesterday we had doctor's appointments for both Quincey and Maiya... Yes, at the same time!!! Never again. We got there at 4 pm and were there until 6 pm! They were both hungry. They both got shots. Not fun.

Maiya was 75 % on weight and height and 50% for her little head.

Quincey was 75% height 25% on weight (hmmmm...... tall and skinny.... I wonder where he gets that from ;)) and only 90% for his head! (it used to always be off the charts).

Both are doing really well. The doctor asked how many words Quincey can say and I guessed around 50, but because I wasn't sure...and because the doctor didn't believe me, I made a list of his words and I did get to 50! (I stopped after that, because I proved the Doctor wrong ;)) So, here you go Grandma... here is the list. (For everyone else... permission is granted to skip)
