The river walk!

We just love going and walking by the river close to where we live. Q loves to play in the water!

This video is of Q throwing rocks in the river. I remembered to tip the camera the other way, mid way through taping. (I always forget that.) A few minutes after this video was taken, my little boy was, of course drenched!!! And man was it hard to get him to want to leave. He is getting quite the temper these days, when he knows what he wants... which is most of the time. He is definitely becoming a big boy! We put him in his big boy bed this past week and he seems to love it. We did it, because he started waking up in the middle of the night a lot. I wondered if it was because we were on vacation and didn't have a crib and now he hates his crib. So, we tried the big bed.... and thus far, he has been sleeping much better!

On other updating news, things are going well. I am making some fun friends (which I am so happy about.) It sure makes a difference, especially since G has been working so much lately... they have been nice and busy at his work. Q is making friends too. OH, and he spent his first real time in nursery yesterday!!! (one week early... I asked them if it would be okay, just because every little bit helps.) And they said he did really well. He didn't cry or ask for us once! But, apparently there was some tackling going on. I don't quite know how to teach him that not all kids like to play football. Anyways... I'm still feeling good with 3 weeks left! We are getting more and more excited, though. I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow. These once a week things make time go a little slow. Okay, the end. Until next time!!

30 Days to go!!!!

Nothing new to update... I was just really excited when I realized only 30 days to go!!!! I do have to say though, that I don't know if I will mind if this baby comes late. (Which I know, I may be just cursing my self...) But! I haven't hit the really uncomfortable stage yet... Quincey sleeps through the night, and I am able to sleep through the night too, so far.... (cross our fingers that it stays this way.) When I was prego with Q, I remember the last 3 or so months it was hard to sleep, but I haven't had that problem with this one! So... although I am so excited to meet our new addition, I am enjoying the sleep! I am not saying that I wouldn't enjoy being able to bend over, or see my toes, but I have a feeling I might go late anyways... so, I am trying to be positive!!!!! The end.

Happy Birthday!

Geren's Birthday was yesterday. He is now closer to 30 than to 20, poor thing. Or, I guess it can be a good thing, depending on how you look at it. For example, he never had the game Rock Band for PS2 when he was 25! ;) We had G's brother Jody and his family (the other New Mexicans) over for a party! and party we did! We formed a band (Q was on vocals) and we had cake and ice cream!

More prego updates!!!!!

So, we are about 35 weeks now! I sure have noticed the temperature going up as the summer continues, but... let's be honest, I am not a big fan of summer heat in general... even without being pregnant, so I wouldn't have liked it without being pregnant either... but I am sure it doesn't help being big and carrying around a toddler on top of it! I am happy to say as well, that I haven't had any problems in the sleeping area so far. (knock on wood)... so, as long as we stay inside with my air conditioning (except, of course, for the occasional run to Sonic's happy hour for 1/2 off drinks) we are just fine! We are getting really excited for baby #2 as it gets closer and closer. It will definitely be a big change!

Goodbye binkie!

Q has now graduated off of the binkie! Or, I really should say that I have. I swear I was becoming way more addicted to it then he was! I loved being able to just put in the plug when it got too noisy! But, mostly it was just a nice and easy way for him to get to sleep. And I was nervous about church without it as well... but he did just fine yesterday without it! well, anyway... it has been a whole week, and we have noticed no signs of withdrawals from either of us! So proud of my big boy!

Tiny Dancer :)

On our trip up to Montana, Quince was struttin' his stuff. He was teaching his skills to his cousin. He has got some cool dance moves!

Montana!

We did get back from Montana on Sunday evening. Boy was it fun. We are glad to be back safely from the long trip (about 17 hours one-way). Thank goodness that we know people along the way that we could stay with to break up the trip a little.

Montana was beautiful! We got to go and see a little of Glacier National Park. We also stayed at the Deep Bay Resort in Lakeside, Montana. I really am grateful that my family does these family reunions every other year, especially since we are all so spread out! Each family saves up $20.00/ month for two years and that pays for the place we stay and the food and even activities! We all take turns on picking the place and hosting the event. This year we got to go boating/ water skiing/ jet skiing all of that fun stuff. We had 30 people there this year! Crazy how families keep multiplying.

Now I just have to get over the cold/congestion/allergies that I picked-up somewhere along the way. I am sick of my voice being all weird. Okay... the end, here are some pictures.
