More Random Updates (R.U.'s)!

I decided this is going to be a new thing for me so maybe I should start referring to these posts as R.U.'s (random updates).

So happy that David Cook won American Idol! Okay, now that that's over... what am I going to do with my weeks?

Geren and I got called to teach the Valiant 10 class in our ward Primary. It has been really good so far, I have to admit, at first I wasn't sure about the calling, but after one week... we just really liked it. It is a lot easier for Quincey, for one. He is free to just walk around in our class room, and the kids (9 and 10 year olds... fun age) are so helpful with him. And he loves being in sharing time and loves singing the songs... so, anyways, we really like it so far.

These root beers are what our Primary presidency gave us to welcome us to primary, I thought it was a really cute idea. (it says, " We are soda-lighted that you are going to be working in Primary" if you can't read it.)

I randomly walked into Blockbuster on Friday, and they were having a big Memorial Day sale on all of their Previously-viewed movies. They were all half off already reduced prices! I got a bunch of movies for so cheap! Happy Birthday to me!!! Among them are The Holiday, The Bourne Ultimatum, Evan Almighty, No Reservations, Enchanted... and those are just a few!

Geren's parents were in town this weekend. It was fun to see some kind, familiar faces. We went and saw Indiana Jones on Saturday, and my nice Sister-in-law and nieces watched Quincey for us. It was so nice to go to a movie without having to worry about keeping him quiet. Although, there was a baby at the end of our row who was screaming for like 10 minutes straight.... That was a little obnoxious. It was an entertaining movie though.

I love watermelon! I've been buying them lately and eating the whole thing in like 2 days! Yummmm!Speaking of food, we went to Applebee's today in celebration of Memorial Day, and I had the

Okay, and again, if you got through all of this, you deserve to see some pictures of my little pumpkin. (oh and with Geren holding the pumpkin).

The Fluffernutter

I have found a new love.... The Fluffernutter. It's a peanut butter and Marshmallow Fluff sandwich. I feel like my childhood was robbed because it was fluffernutter-less... so, if yours was too, don't waste another minute! Here is the website, it even has fun, original advertisements and everything.

Random Updates...

Here are my random thoughts and updates for the day!

So, everything is going well. We are feeling more and more at home and adjusted everyday. We finally got everything taken care of with a doctor and insurance and all of that, so it feels much better, and I think I will really like my doctor, so even better!

Okay, this is to all of you from my old ward, I've been thinking this forever so I have to see what ya'll think... Every time I watch American Idol I can't help but think about how much Paula Abdul reminds me of Angie Parker from our ward. They look similar, but mostly it is their voices and personality.

I am getting a new phone in like 2 days, and it's purple! So excited. Quincey finally popped his 4th bottom tooth the other day, so now his teeth are a little more even. I am tempted to blame all of his bad schedules and no sleeping and general crankiness of the past couple of weeks on teething, but I am sure it is an accumulation of all things new, and I am just hoping it will pass soon.

I decided I am solar powered. It was all dark and rainy today, and I didn't want to get up and do anything! But, I did get the best sleep of my life last night, didn't even wake up to go pee! Which of course is amazing.

Time to talk a little more Idol talk... Please, Please let David Cook win!!! I will be a little disappointed if Archuleta wins, he really is just not as developed as an artist as Cook is. But I do have to say, I think America got the top 3 right, the most talented of the bunch were there. I do think Carly should have made it to the 4, Oh and of course Michael Johns should have made it to at least 5th, but other than that... I think we got the order pretty good.

Happy Lost Day!!! It is kind of weird that they are stretching the finale over 2 weeks (an hour tonight and 2 hours 2 weeks from now), but lets be honest, this show is nothing ordinary for sure!

Yesterday I rented P.S. I love you from the RedBox!!! This movie is sooooo recommendable. I laughed just as much as I cried. The ultimate romance.

And if you have made it through all of this, you deserve to see an adorable picture! So, here you go.

My Super Man!!!

I got this outfit for cheap, and thought Q looked pretty darn cute in it, and he was posing for me in it, 'cuz it even has a cape on the back and everything.

Only problem is, the pants were a little too big. Nothing wrong with a little pant-less Superman, though... right?

Ultrasounds!

So, now that my scanner works, I decided to post some ultrasound pics. Geren and I just think the comparison of our babies heads is so cool to look at. Quincey's head is such a long shape while baby girl's head is very round.... not to mention the size difference. So, hopefully this one will be easier to push out!!! :)
The first one is Q and the second is baby girl's.
Oh, and Happy Mother's Day! This seems like an appropriate post for today.

Our New Apartment!

We made it! And we finally got our internet installed last night, so here I am! I can't believe it has already been a whole week, it has gone really fast. Our move went really well, and we are starting to adjust to our new home! It has been quite the adventure and so far, we really like it here. Everyone has been really friendly to us and we feel very welcome. It has been a lot of fun exploring the new town, and I haven't even gotten lost! Geren started working on Monday and seems to be enjoying his new job. Quincey is beginning to adjust. The first night, I think he was really weirded out by his things being in a new place. I still don't think he is entirely fond of his room, but it is coming along.
I was right in the "things that I will miss from Utah post", but of course mostly I miss our old ward, and all of my wonderful friends!! Thanks again for the going away party that was for me.

Here are some pictures of some of my wonderful friends, but of course it isn't all of them, and I bet you can guess why I gave up!

Also, here are some pictures of our new living room. Just so you can feel like you have been here, even though you haven't. (but you are totally welcome;))
