Current Baby Belly

Here is my pregnant belly at 24 weeks (taken today) for those of you who have been asking. (and also for phoebe who thought that I had grown ginormous in less than a month, because of my last post.) The last picture looks bigger 'cuz I was kind of poking it out, and the middle one looks smaller because I was laughing, but the first one is probably the most accurate.

Fat Ladies and Big, Cone Heads...

This post is dedicated to all of the ladies that think I am a small pregnant lady. It is to jog all of our memories on just how huge I got with little Q. But also, as I was looking through the pictures, it reminded me of the whole experience....

These next two pictures were right before I went into the hospital, and if you are wondering why I am still smiling, it's because my water broke but didn't send me into contractions, so I am only smiling, because ignorance is bliss.

Breakfast of Champions!!!

Well, this morning Q woke up at around 6:30am so we brought him in bed with us and he fell asleep again until 8:30a. Well, I was still asleep when I woke up to a sound of things falling on the carpet and Quincey sounding like he just won the jackpot. I guess since I wouldn't get up to get him breakfast, he just crawled off of the bed so stealthily, and went to get his own!

I am so proud of my little independent boy!
(if you can't tell from the picture we left a bag of Co Co puffs on top of the desk, apparently open, and TA DA! one toddler breakfast ready for pick-up!)

Tribute to Utah

Well, just to update you all, in case you haven't heard, we are down to 2 and a half weeks before we leave to New Mexico! We did find a little apartment, that we signed a 6 month lease on and after that it will be month to month! So, that will give us a perfect amount of time to get settled and to find a house to buy. We are really excited for the new adventure. But that is for a different post.... This post is dedicated to all of the things that I will miss about Utah.

A few things I will miss about Utah:

The Temple being so close.
Salt Lake and Temple square being so close.
Olive Garden (the closest for me will be 3 hours away (in Albuquerque) , along with the Temple... I guess it will give me good incentive to go!)
Ikea Cafe (yummy Swedish meatballs, and Lingon berry juice)
Ikea (cheap and fashionable home furnishings!)
All the events that are held at the BYU, there really is so much to do here!
Our house! I have loved living in this house (I will miss you, big kitchen!)
Washer and Dryer in my home... (yep, back to the stoneage!)
The weather (I am not looking forward to it being so hot, hot, hot.... we do have a pool for our complex, though.)
Having 2 malls close by! (We will only have one)
The Dollar Theaters!

And of course, all of my wonderful friends living so close by!!! Which is why I am grateful for blogging!

NOOOOOOOoooo!

I am so upset that my favorite American Idol is gone! My dear Michael Johns is gone! I voted for him too, and usually the people that I vote for don't go home! I'm so sad, and i'm never gonna vote again.

Dear Diary,

I just locked myself out of my house while Q was taking a nap. I finally was able to climb up on a garbage can, and crawl through my tiny window that is next to my shower. Not the easiest of tasks for a 5 month pregnant lady, but I am so glad I am inside with my baby. I got a couple of scrapes, but other than that... we are okay. Don't worry, I will be a lot more careful in the future!

A Non- April fools day post.

Since today is NOT April Fool's day, I should let you all know that we really did find out the gender of the baby! But because I know you are all dying to know now, I won't tell you!!! Just Kidding. But I will delay it a little... and start talking about other stuff that you really don't care about, just to distract you a little before I tell you that it's a girl!

Yay! We are so excited! So, time for sugar and spice and everything nice! (until Quince toughens her up.)
