Importing Day

I finally decided to look through all of my old CD's and decided to import them into my computer so that I can finally listen to them on my Ipod. I really used to be the CD buying queen.
Some of my favorite albums:

Ben Folds- (pretty much anything by him or the five, is okay by me ;)
Coldplay- gotta love the CP!! (anything from them is good too)

Bon Jovi!!!! I used to have the biggest crush on Jon (I lovingly called him Bon;))
The Cure- Galore
Jackie Greene- I really like all of his albums
Oingo Boingo- love Danny Elfman, musical genius

okay, I am sure there are more, and this list probably has a lot to do with my current mood... but that will do.

A Parent's guide

Did you know that the Church has A Parent's guide?
Well, on Monday for Family Home Evening, G and I went over some of the points in this guide, and we found it insightful. Just thought I would spread the love....

I found this hat today and tried it on Q just to see if it fit, and then he didn't want me to take it off! I think he has a very advanced sense of style!

blippity blappity.... (ie. randomness)

Just now, I was watching Q as he was under the computer desk. He kept trying to stand up, but kept hitting his head on the desk in the process. He started crying, because it started to hurt, but he kept doing it! Kept trying to stand up.
As I was watching him, I wondered how many times I do this same kind of thing trying to do something, unsuccessfully, getting the same results, but unwilling to change my methods. He of course finally stopped, with my encouragement of course, but this wasn't the first time it has happened, nor do I think it will be the last...
Unfortunately, it takes us humans a few times before we learn.

How time flies!

This was Q's first day into the world.

This was before he became a chunk.

My very talented sister in law took the following pictures (the first two, were when Quince was maybe a couple of months old? And the last one was at the end of June, about 6 months old.)
With his 1 year birthday coming up on the 27th, it is neat to look back and see how much he has grown and developed over such a short time.
